. mainly mid 50's from santa rose to napa no have the 0fairfield concord and livermore. on to one final live picture from our east bay camera emeryville back across the bay bridge. these are forecast feature just the slightest chance of showers tonight. much colder pattern will be with us for the rest of the week and freeze watch begins tuesday night tomorrow night that wednesday morning. here's satellite image showing you that cold front diving down from our north. bringing with it a little bit of shower activity although we have only a very slight chance of seeing a shower here overnight. big change coming our way of course is the pool of cold air that will be descending behind the cold front that brings us sharply different temperature, or weather pattern from what we have seen the last couple week. let's start our forecast animation 11:00 o'clock tonight at which point we see increasing clouds and maybe a spotty shower or 2 mav through the area but that will mostly clear out quickly. giving us sunny skies tomorrow. much cooler daytime weather certainly much colder overnight we

napa. mid 40's novato fairfield and livermore and live view along the bay bridge from south east camera in downtown san francisco. these are forecast feature freezing warning begins tonight and extend for a couple overnight ahead even colder weather will arrive tomorrow night and winter mix is possible for the bay area friday saturday which means our bay area peek may sea some snow flake. movement of the cold front came through this morning with light scattered showers and big change of course is that cold air following the cold front freezing cold tonight will be with us tonight and tomorrow night over much of the bay area start our forecast animation 4:00 o'clock thursday afternoon as the second wave of cold air comes n.the same wave just colder. low pressure system to our north will drop south ward producing snow in the mountains and down in the sierra. cold showers move into the bay area by the end of the week on friday and we have low snow level as well. so the high could see snow flake. in the sierra we have a winter storm watch if effect friday morning to saturday afternoo

, napa. 23, livermore. 24, morgan hill. some of the colder locations right around the bay will see lows mainly in the upper 20s. at freezing or below in some coastal locations. then tomorrow, under mainly sunny skies in the afternoon. we'll see high temperatures in the south bay right around 50 degrees. 50 in san jose. 49, santa clara. on the peninsula most highs around 50 also from san mateo to pail l palo alto, mountain view. in and around san francisco, highs in the upper 40s. close to the coast, about 50. up in the north bay, the inland valleys will see highs in the low 50s. 52 in santa rosa. 52 at napa. he's bay highs, 49 at union city and fremont. inland east bay chillier than that. high temperatures will reach only into the upper 40s. all of the inland east bay locations, 48 at livermore,le pleasantton. temperatures moderate a little on wednesday and thursday. by the end of the week high temperatures back in the upper 50s which will seem almost like a heat wave compared to what we have now. a slight chance of some light rain on friday. doesn't look like much of a rainmaker.
